Directory Server 7.0 Crashing In Substring Filter Candidate List (substring_candidates) (Doc ID 1395741.1)

Symptoms

Directory Server 7.0 on Solaris 10 (sparc) crashing on substring filter searches.

A pflags against the core file produced by the crash shows the following thread is the crashing thread.

/33: flags = DETACH
sigmask = 0xffffbefc,0x0000ffff cursig = SIGSEGV


Reviewing a pstack of the core file shows the following stack.
