Applies to:

Oracle BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Every time a report is saved it changes the Drilling URL, basically seems that special characters are added to the original URL value i.e. URL http://test is saved as:

After 1st save:      http://test
After 2nd save:     http://test
After 3rd save:     http://test

Test case:

  1. Create any report, i.e. Updating list
  2. Create any Data Object, any fields i.e Demos/Order Booking DO and CustomerID,SupplierName as the fields
  3. At Drilling set New Target with parameters:
    • Destination type: Launch a New Window, check only Show With Context
    • Destination: Destination URL type i.e. 'http://test'
    • Destiname name: test
  4. Click Next, then OK and close edit view window
  5. Click Close (action of report) and click yes when asked for save. Now report is saved and closed. Open the report created , right click on the surface of the report and see that 'http://test' is correct and you can access it.
  6. Select saved report, click edit, click edit view, go to Drill tab, check current Destination URL, close report and again save it when asked.
