OGG JMS User-Exit Extract Abend with Java.Lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC Overhead Limit Exceeded (Doc ID 1398135.1)

Symptoms

When using the Oracle GoldenGate (OGG) Extract pump Java user-exit to pass OGG trail data to a JMS queue, the Extract pump PUMP abends with the following error in the Extract report file:


Error occured in javawriter.c[269]: Error occurred (Java exception): UEDataSource.createOperation:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded

Error occured in javawriter.c[907]: Could not create Java Operation from C
Error occured in javawriter.c[1084]: Could not create Java Operation from C
Error occured in javauserexit.c[854]: Problem Writing operation

The cuserexit.log shows:

JAVAWRITER(javawriter.c:269) [ERROR]: Error occurred (Java exception): UEDataSource.createOperation:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: GC overhead limit exceeded

JAVAWRITER(javawriter.c:907) [ERROR]: Could not create Java Operation from C
