Unable to Login to OIDDAS After Enabling SSL: 404 - Not Found / Resource /oiddas/osso_login_success not found on this server

Symptoms
Logins through 10g OSSO worked fine before enabling SSL.
Setup SSL according to:
<Document:340178.1> Enabling SSL with Oracle Application Server 10g and the E-Business Suite
When logging into OIDDAS (https://<hostname>:<port>/oiddas) as any user, getting the following error message:
404 Not Found
Resource /oiddas/osso_login_success not found on this server
Resource /oiddas/osso_login_success not found on this server
After getting the error, if typing the same URL address in the same browser session, it redirects directly to the error page without being asked for username/password, so the session cookie is being correctly set.
Changes
Configured for SSL.
