OBIEE 10g Portlet WSRP Registration PortletConnectionException Error For Webcenter (Doc ID 1399925.1)

Symptoms


To integrate OBIEE 10g with Webcenter 11.1.1.4.0 the steps from the document: http://oraclebizint.wordpress.com/2007/12/20/oracle-bi-ee-101332-deploying-jsr-168-portlets-displaying-reports-in-web-center-suite-using-jdeveloper have been applied :

1) Copied the sawjsr168portlets.war from location {OracleBI}\web\sdk and updated the portlet.xml and web.xml with the corresponding values as per the document.
2) Deployed the updated sawjsr168portlets.war file WC_Portlet managed server of Webcenter domain using Jdeveloper.
3) Registered the WSRP2 Url as a WSRP producer using the Enterprise manager.
4) Consumed the portlet in a JSPX page of Webcenter Spaces.
 
The following error is shown in the application.log :

JDeveloper is complaining about the WSDL :
