Reporting Service settings do not work in an Admin Override (Doc ID 1400051.1)

Last updated on JULY 16, 2014

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On Suite - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The Logon Manager agent is recording erroneous entries about reporting events in the Windows Event Viewer every 30 minutes after the Retry Interval for the reporting extension has been changed to 1440 minutes and deployed in an Admin Override to the repository. The desired behavior is to have the reporting extension log events to the Windows Event Viewer every 24 hours instead of the default 30 minutes.

When the ESSO Reporting settings are published to the repository as an Admin Override in the repository, there are no ESSO events written to the PLXReporting database on the SQL server. The SQL logs also do not contain any logon events from the workstation hosting the ESSO reporting client.

Changes

Published the ESSO Reporting configuration settings from the ESSO Administrative Console to the repository as an Administrative Override.
