Goal
How to purge active instances ("Running" / "Recovery Needed" state) by using the purge scripts?
WARNING
Purge scripts are designed to not purge any active instances (which include running or recovery-required instances).
We expect users to take care of the active instances (either retry or cancel) which transits the instances to a non-active state and allow the purge script to delete them.
Backup your database before using this solution.
