Goal

Oracle offers the option of using Application Server Cluster Ready Services (ASCRS) as clusterware for managing the start, stop and fail over of Fusion Middleware (FMW) 11g resources, where FMW is installed and configured in an active-passive Cold Failover configuration.

The documented steps for configuring a Cold Failover Cluster (CFC) and then ASCRS describe the scenario where the FMW 11g binary home and the domain and instance data are stored onto a single disk volume.

Can the the configuration data for the domain and the instance be located on a separate disk volume? If so, how should ASCRS be configured?
