How to Change the Default Sender's Email Address being used in Default Notifications being Sent from OIM PS1 (Doc ID 1403850.1)

Goal

There can be many scenarios while using OIM PS1 (OIM 11.1.1.5.0 and newer releases) where one may want to use another email address than the out-of-box one of donotreply@oracle.com being used currently for sending default OIM email notification. This article provides information about how to set another email address to be used for default email notification purposes.

This may also be helpful in cases where customer is using an older OIM 11g versions prior to OIM 11.1.1.5.0 and have upgraded to OIM 11.1.1..5.x version and has been using the NOTIFICATIONADMIN user for email notifications before the upgrade. As the NOTIFICATIONADMIN user has been deleted and not supported anymore in OIM PS1 or newer OIM PS1 releases so this article can be used to change email address if the NOTIFICATIONADMIN user is still being used after the upgrade
