Why is it not Possible to Optimize and Sort Memo type Metadata Fields when using OracleTextSearch (Doc ID 1405288.1)

Goal

When Content Server is configured to use OracleTextSearch, one can set most metadata fields to "optimized" also to be sorted during query operations. However, it is not possible to do this with Memo fields. Why is this?
