BPEL Processes Created By Polling Adapter Hang In Cluster (Doc ID 1407585.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle(R) BPEL Process Manager - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The following details match your scenario:

Using a SQL script 200 rows are inserted into RDBMS table being polled. The expectation is that this should result in 200 new ProcessA instances and 2,000 new ProcessB instances being created.

When the 200 rows are inserted only the first 20 created ProcessA instances manage to create their ProcessB instances. The remaining 180 ProcessA instances have a flow trace of completed but without having created the ProcessB instances.  The end result is only 200 instances of ProcessB are created instead of the expected 2,000.

This problem is only seen in a cluster and not a single node, in a single node everything works as expected.
