Symptoms

When starting a standalone Reports Server and trying to open the Advanced Configuration in Fusion Middleware Control (Enterprise Manager / EM) the following error message is displayed :

Found no object names where one was expected for query: oracle.reportsApp.config:name=rwserver,Location=WLS_REPORTS1,type=ReportsApp,*
Hide Additional Trace Information

oracle.sysman.emSDK.app.exception.EMSystemException at oracle.sysman.emas.sdk.model.jmx.JMXUtil.queryObjectName(JMXUtil.java:384) ...

In the log files these messages can be seen :

java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 0 at oracle.sysman.emas.model.logcfg.LogConfigModel.getNonJ2eeCompLoggingServiceMbeanName(LogConfigModel.java:4805) at oracle.sysman.emas.model.logcfg.LogConfigModel.getLoggingServiceMbeanName(LogConfigModel.java:4643) at ...

In WLS_REPORTS.out an error about MBeans can be found:

Restarting the Reports Server or OPMN does not solve the issue.

Changes

Screenprinter.ppd has been renamed to use default.ppd / datap462.ppd instead.
