Cannot Store User Credentials Under User Object In Active Directory (Doc ID 1415966.1)

Last updated on JULY 17, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Single Sign-On Suite - Version 11.1.1.2.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Logon Manager credentials are not being stored directly under the user's object in the Active Directory Enterprise Single Sign On repository.

This is occurring despite the fact that the process was done from within the Administrative console, by which Repository / Extend Schema was chosen and ran successfully, followed by Repository / Enable storing credentials under use object (AD) being chosen and run successfully.

In certain instances, a single Logon Manager child object is created directly under the user's AD object , however no credential objects are being created under the ESSO object.
