How to configure Oracle Identity Federation (OIF) 11g as Identity Provider (IdP) to pass additional IdP user attributes to a Service Provider?

The requirement is for OIF as IdP to send additional user attributes from the user entry in the Identity Provider domain in the Assertion (AuthnResponse) sent to the Service Provider, for use by the Service Provider product to perform additional authentication processing.
