Goal

In order to reduce the number of queries made against an ldap server and hence improve performance, Oracle Access Manager (OAM) maintains a cache that contains information about group membership. The entries in the cache contain a group, and a list of static groups of which that group is a direct member.

This document answers questions about the usage and settings for this cache.
