When configuring Hadoop for analytics in Pseudo Distributed/Distributed mode the datanode is failing to start up and gives the following exception:

ERROR org.apache.hadoop.dfs.DataNode: java.io.IOException: Incompatible namespaceIDs in /home/hadoop/dfs/data: namenode namespaceID = ; datanode namespaceID =
at org.apache.hadoop.dfs.DataStorage.doTransition(DataStorage.java:226)
at .....

This causes the Analytics jobs to fail since the hadoop jobs and hdfs agent fail to to start.
