Trying to Extend a FMW 11g Classic Domain Loops Forever Requesting The My Oracle Support Credentials (Doc ID 1429414.1)

Symptoms

Trying to extend an Oracle Fusion MiddleWare 11g Classic Domain with the "Extend Cluster" option, the installer goes in an infinite loop and keeps asking for My Oracle Support credentials no matter what type of option you choose.

In the installation screen 


A) If you deselect the "I wish to receive security updates via My Oracle Support" check box then you are asked to confirm



Regardless if you select yes, or no, you are returned to the previous screen

B) If you keep selected "I wish to receive security updates via My Oracle Support" check box, if the machine has no direct internet connection, the installer will fail with error message
