Symptoms
An error occurs while installing a WebCenter Content domain on WebSphere, stating "Error federating custom profile."
The installation log shows the following errors.
ADMU0128I: Starting tool with the CustomUCM profile
CWPKI0314E: The following error is returned from an exception: ADMC0016E: The
system cannot create a SOAP connector to connect to host
<domain> at port 8879.
ADMU0113E: Program exiting with error:
com.ibm.websphere.management.exception.ConnectorException:
ADMC0016E: The system cannot create a SOAP connector to connect to
host <domain> at port 8879., resulting from:
[SOAPException: faultCode=SOAP-ENV:Client; msg=Error parsing HTTP
status line
The log also show a stack trace with this detail about the error:
