Symptoms

The same color cannot be applied 2 times in a row in a Text Layout Component.

After setting the color to a fragment of text if you want to apply the same color to another part of the text you won't be able to apply the previous selected color. Attempting to apply the same color will do nothing.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Create a Page in a Group Space.

  2. Add a Text Layout Component.

  3. Click on "Edit Text".

  4. Type in some text in the Text Layout Component.

  5. Set the color in some text.

    • Select some text in the Text layout Component.

    • Expand the "Foreground Color" pop-up.

    • Select a color for that text.
Any color will be fine, but for this example select Red.

  6. Set the same color in some other text.

    • Select other text in the Text layout Component.

    • Click on the already selected color in the "Foreground Color" icon.
Result: The color is not applied.

    • Expand the "Foreground Color" pop-up.

    • Select the same color selected before.
      Red for this example.

Result: The color is not applied.

    • Expand the "Foreground Color" pop-up again.

    • Select a different color.
      For example, yellow.

Result: A different color can be applied.

    • Select the same color you selected before.
      Red for this example.

Result: Now the previous selected color is applied.
