Getting Authentication Error Accessing SMTP Mail Server From OIM (Doc ID 1431574.1)

Symptoms

Getting following error accessing SMTP mail server from OIM:


Caused By: org.springframework.mail.MailAuthenticationException: Authentication failed; nested exception is javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException

 

Steps:

1) Configure ITResource for SMTP Mail Server and since Mail server is of Non-Authentication type, therefore "false" is used as the Authentication type, and no username and password

2) This is causing the failure in sending the email.
