2 SES Instances Return Different Results When Crawline One WebCenter Content Instance (Doc ID 1431627.1)

Symptoms


Content Server is setup to be crawled by 2 separate Secure Enterprise Search (SES) engines.

When new documents are checked in to Content Server, and the crawler is started, the new documents only appear in one SES instance, and not in the other instance.

When the crawler is run, a constraint violation error is reported in the Content Server log file:

An error occurred during indexing. Unable to execute SQL statement 'INSERT INTO sceSourceLocation (dDocName,dSceSourceLocation) VALUES ('10021516200000006', 'core-content-2')'. ORA-00001: unique constraint (DEV_OCS.PK_SCESOURCELOCATION) violated
java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (DEV_OCS.PK_SCESOURCELOCATION) violated.
