Unable To Login To The Admin Console After Upgrading From Oracle GlassFish Server 3.1 To 3.1.2 (Doc ID 1431933.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from Oracle GlassFish Server 3.1 To 3.1.2, unable to login to the Admin Console. The request gets redirected to http://<host:admin-port>/j_security_check which shows a blank page. Admin Console login fails with the following exception:


Disabling and enabling secure admin again and restarting the domain fixes the problem.

1) asadmin > disable-secure-admin
2) asadmin > enable-secure-admin
3) asadmin > restart-domain
