Symptoms

Scenario:
Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g, i.e., 11.1.1.5.

Replication works between OID1 and OID2, but not for the 3rd OID server.

Setting up a third / 3rd node on ASR based replication Directory Replication Group (DRG) fails with:

ASR SETUP ERROR/WARNING:
OID3.<COMPANY>.COM : Replication agreement entry is invalid.

Tried running remtool -asrrectify -v which seems to correct configuration problems, i.e.:

...........
Summary of findings:
CORRECTED:
OID3.<COMPANY>.COM : "<OID_HOSTNAME1>" hostname has been added to replication agreement entry.

CORRECTED:
OID3.<COMPANY>.COM : "<OID_HOSTNAME2>" hostname has been added to replication agreement entry.

CORRECTED:
OID3.<COMPANY>.COM : "<OID_HOSTNAME3>" hostname has been added to replication agreement entry.

However the 3rd node still fails configuration, as does subsequent remtool -asrverify -v commands, i.e.:

...........
Summary of findings:
ASR SETUP ERROR/WARNING:
OID3.<COMPANY>.COM : Replication agreement entry is invalid.
