Symptoms

Few scenarios where this could happen:

(1) Schedule a import job for now or in the future.  The job's scheduled time would come and pass and the job would still show as "Not started" in the UI. They reviewed the log files and found this error when the job should have run:

10:24:32,641 ERROR [QuartzSchedulerProviderImpl] Could not retrieve the Job from Scheduler
10:24:32,641 ERROR [QuartzSchedulerProviderImpl] org.quartz.JobPersistenceException: Couldn't retrieve job because the BLOB couldn't be deserialized: com.vaau.rbacx.iam.domain.IamDataLoadParams; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = -2348441082552134881, local class serialVersionUID = -6525321669234017951 [See nested exception: java.io.InvalidClassException: com.vaau.rbacx.iam.domain.IamDataLoadParams; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = -2348441082552134881, local class serialVersionUID = -6525321669234017951]

(2) Apply a bundle patch to a OIA instance successfully. Schedule a import job for now or in the future. The job's scheduled time would come and pass and the job would start and finish, but the logs will be filled with the following messages:

18:02:20,376 ERROR [QuartzSchedulerProviderImpl] Could not retrieve the Job from Scheduler
18:02:20,377 ERROR [QuartzSchedulerProviderImpl] org.quartz.JobPersistenceException: Couldn't retrieve job because the BLOB couldn't be deserialized: com.vaau.rbacx.iam.domain.IamDataLoadParams; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = -2348441082552134881, local class serialVersionUID = -6525321669234017951 [See nested exception: java.io.InvalidClassException: com.vaau.rbacx.iam.domain.IamDataLoadParams; local class incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = -2348441082552134881, local class serialVersionUID = -6525321669234017951]
