CS 7.0.2 install on Jboss Portal throws OutOfMemory error (Doc ID 1434473.1)

Symptoms

Receiving an OutOfMemory error when trying to startup the CS/Portal jboss instance during the "Installation Actions" stage of the installation.  Below is the stack trace:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: PermGen space

        at java.security.SecureClassLoader.defineClass(SecureClassLoader.java:124)

        at org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1325)
        at org.apache.catalina.loader.WebappClassLoader.loadClass(WebappClassLoader.java:1204)
        at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319)
