InstanceNotFoundException When Using WLST To Create A libOVD Ldap Adapter For Ldap Sync (Doc ID 1438350.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 08, 2016

Applies to:

Identity Manager - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
**Checked for Relevance on 13-Sep-2013**

Goal

Setup :

1) Trying to enable LDAP Synchronisation for a new install of OIM post-installation (i.e. using the procedure defined in the OIM 11.1.1.5 admin guide section 10, rather than setting LDAP synch up during initial product configuration).
2) Using libOVD for the connection to LDAP and trying to set up the required adapters for libOVD (ref section 10.5 of the manual).

When trying to create a new LDAP adapter, an error occurs :

javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException: javax.management.InstanceNotFoundException: com.oracle:type=OVD,context=oim,name=AdaptersConfig.

Whilst section 10.5 gives describes WLST commands that can be used to set-up libOVD, it gives no detail procedure to use these.
