IPM Commit Driver Reformats when Committing from Capture Date Field to IPM Text Field (Doc ID 1444003.1)

Symptoms

Using WebCenter Capture (formerly Oracle Document Capture) to commit directly to IPM 11g. The Capture field is a date field which is mapped in the commit profile to an IPM 11g text field.

When indexing in Capture the date field values are in a format of "yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss".  When committed to IPM 11g it is then displayed as "mm-dd-yyyy hh:mm:ss".
