Blank Pop-up Window Displayed When Viewing Items in Spaces and Hidden Window with Error Unable to Display Item Properties (Doc ID 1446868.1)

Symptoms

On WebCenter Spaces 11.1.1.5.0 version, when attempting to view a document which is returned by SES or Spaces Search,  a blank pop-up document viewer is displayed.

There is a hidden window behind the blank window which shows the message

Unable to display item properties
The selected document or folder or its parent  folder may have being deleted or you permissions may have been revoked

The  error on the logs are:

Caused By: javax.jcr.ItemNotFoundException: Document with dDocName 'S_000267' does not exist in the folders structure.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps ( without SES also):
1. Upload a document in WebCenter Content and ensure it does NOT belong to any folder.
2. Search for the document in Spaces and in the search results, click on the item to view the item.
3. A blank window is display and errors logged in browser.

Problem does not exist in WebCenter Content.
Same user can successfully view content going directly to WebCenter Content or even via SES.

In WebCenter Content, on the item info page, there is no value on "Folder" attribute.
