Symptoms

OAM 11g Logout is failing for clients with Javascript disabled.

Instead of being redirected to the login page, Javascript-disabled users see the 'wait' icon continuously rotating. This page image remains and the logout process is essentially stuck.

Steps to reproduce

1. Login to the custom application using a browser with Javascript disabled.
2. Click the Logout link.
3. A confirmation page with yes/no button is displayed.
4, When the yes button is clicked, the following request is issued -
https:/<OAM-Host>:<PORT>/oam/server/logout?end_url=<portal_site_login_page>
5. A page is displayed with the 'wait' clock image rotating. No further page is displayed, this clock rotates indefinitely.
