Concern That Changes Are Not Saved to the Registry Rdb File Because the Time Stamp Does Not Change. (Doc ID 1447327.1)

Last updated on MARCH 11, 2020

Applies to:

Sun Schema Runtime Environment (SRE) - Version 5.0.5u2 and later
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)

Goal

Would changes made since the last time the registry daemon was restarted still be there if the registry daemon is killed? It appears that when adding a component to the registry the rdb file doesn't change in size and the time stamp is not changed. Does this mean that it only keeps registry changes in Memory?
