Oracle Directory Services Manager (ODSM) to Oracle Virtual Directory (OVD) 11g.

ODSM Data Browser tab, expanding an LDAP adapter to Microsoft (MS) Active Directory (AD) returns error:

LDAPException Malformed Request (2) Protocol Error
LDAPException Server Message: Protocol Error

Command line ldap tools to OVD for AD adapter also fail, for example, a ldapsearch returns:
