Incorrect SQL Generation When Repositioning Datasets In An ODI 11.1.1.5 Integration Interface (Doc ID 1451956.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 11.1.1.5, when attempting to re-arrange the order of a set of Datasets in order to specify the appropriate UNION clauses (for example) from the Add / Remove Datasets ... icon, the resulting generated SQL is incorrect.

The following is the code resulting from this operation :

NOTE: In the examples below, the names represent a fictitious sample for clarity. Any similarity to actual environments, past or present, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

 

The first UNION clause is erroneously inserted before the first enclosed select. This occurs either when first dataset is moved down or the second dataset is moved up.
