Should either the InCache "diskstore" or satellite.properties "cache_folder" parameters point to a shared disk?

For InCache this is configured in cs-cache.xml, and ss-cache.xml respectively. E.g.
<diskStore path="/app/Shared/InCache/CDA/CS" />
assuming any part of that path is a shared disk (e.g. NFS mounted)

Similarly, for SS should the property "cache_folder" in satellite.properties point to a shared disk? E.g.
cache_folder=/app/Shared/SS/cachefolder

Or should they be pointing to local disk?
