How to Run the 32-bit Java Control Panel When Both 32-bit and 64-bit JREs Are Installed on 64-bit Windows
Last updated on APRIL 09, 2017
Applies to:Java Platform, Standard Edition - Version 6 to 7 [Release 6 to 7]
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)
Microsoft Windows (32-bit)
The goal is to show the method to start the 32-bit Java Control Panel on a 64-bit Windows system which has both 32-bit and 64-bit JREs.
If both 32-bit and 64-bit JREs are installed on 64-bit Windows, the Windows Control Panel shows only the 64-bit Java Control Panel. 32-bit browsers use 32-bit Java plugins, thus there needs a way to run the 32-bit Java Control Panel.
