Symptoms

When attempting to import the message body using OIT, the following error is returned:

05/01/12 14:35:31 1105 Start processing batch <TEST@ORACLE.COM>Tue, 1 May 2012 08:42:41 -0400.
05/01/12 14:35:31 1106 Importing Email Provider batch <TEST@ORACLE.COM>Tue, 1 May 2012 08:42:41 -0400 into batch 0501125253117.
05/01/12 14:35:31 1134 File is being processed with Outside In Technology.
05/01/12 14:35:31 1337 ***Error***Error occurred in OIT ExOpenExport. Error Number: 4, Error: no filter available for this file type
05/01/12 14:35:31 5139 The attachment [MESSAGE] was determined to be invalid.
05/01/12 14:35:31 1116 No pages were added to the new batch. This batch will be removed.
05/01/12 14:35:31 5218 Message was not imported.
05/01/12 14:35:31 1310 ***Error*** Error occurred during batch importing, import item <TEST@ORACLE.COM>Tue, 1 May 2012 08:42:41 -0400 did not import. Provider: Email Provider Job: TEST
05/01/12 14:35:31 5109 Disconnected from POP3 server [TEST@ORACLE.COM].
05/01/12 14:35:31 1104 Job [TEST] is finished.
