Symptoms

A BPEL service acting as a client is calling an external WebService. The SOA domain is hosting the BPEL service. A WLS domain is hosting the WebService. Since a SSL connection is done the WebLogic Server hosting the WebService is providing its own identity certificate, which is validated on the BPEL side during SSL handshake. During the validation of the certificate provided by the WebService server (WLS) the following error happens :
