The Surface Prompt Order Is Not Followed When More Than 10 Are Defined (Doc ID 1457986.1)

Last updated on APRIL 23, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle BAM (Business Activity Monitoring) - Version 11.1.1.4.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When more than 10 Surface Prompts are defined the preferred sorting order is not followed.

Through a process of elimination we ascertained that ten (10) seems to be the maximum number of surface Prompts that can be displayed when a custom order has been defined. If an eleventh is defined this Surface prompt is displayed out of order. The result was the same when trying to define twenty-one  surface prompts parameter. As soon as the defined number exceeds ten, they display out of order.
