Oracle Fusion Middleware Fails to Complete the First Restart AdminServer at Installation Time (Doc ID 1458013.1)

Symptoms

The Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g binaries were installed successfully, but during the configuration phase after creating an instance, the Configuration Assistant fails to restart the AdminServer.

Note: This issue was initially identified in an Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports & Discoverer installation type, but it would be reproducible within any kind of installation that requires using a Weblogic Server domain. This has also been reported with an OBIEE installation.

 

During the restart of the AdminServer, the logs contain the following errors:

 

The error occurrs just at the moment in which the Configuration Assistant tries to restart the AdminServer in the newly created domain.
