When You Search for Content within a Date Range, X to Y, Content Checked in on the 'Y' Date is Not Found (Doc ID 1458432.1)

Symptoms

If you search for content within a date range, for example; You set the "From" date to Monday, 5/14/2012 and the "To" date to Thursday 5/17/2012. If a content item were checked in and released on Thursday at 09:00 AM, it would NOT be included in the search results.
