Symptoms
Authentication fails when passwords are hashed using SHA-1 and stored in the DB, and the Authenticator selected is ReadOnlySqlAuthenticator.
Changes
While configuring the ReadOnlySQLAuthenticator, Plaintext Passwords Enabled is "UNCHECKED" under the provider specific tab of the ReadOnlySqlAuthenticator. No changes, at the DBMS side we are storing the hashed password using SHA-1 algorithm.
