Browsing a directory structure for a virtual directory listing or most likely a webapp configured to allow index directories, the generated directory page truncates the labels/names on the file and directory links to 30 characters.

For the customer's scenario, they are testing browsing a virtual directory listing via a browser by viewing the directory itself rather than a file.
For example, they have the following mapping:

What happens when they access http://<host>:<port>/<application> they get a directory listing of the local-path above. Looks like this html page is generated by Weblogic.

The problem is that the files and directories listed have the name labels truncated to 30 characters (basically, to fit the formatting). The links work, but the file/directory names are truncated. For example, the displayed name for "another_folder_with_a_really_long_name" is "another_folder_with_a_really_l".
For some customers this may be a problem because of a large list of files that begin the same but are discerned by numbers ending the filename, so there is no discerning the file names.
