Last updated on FEBRUARY 12, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version to [Release 11gR1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

When using XSD (or DTD) files containing reserved words (such as Order, Select, ...) with the Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) and XML Driver in order to reverse engineer the appropriate relational Models, the following message is signaled:

ODI-1228: Task Order (Integration) fails on the target XML connection ....
java.sql.SQLException: ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended

Moreover, when tracing the connection to the XML driver it is observed that no alias is created for the ORDER Element:

FIN: Element http://<SERVER NAME>/schema/<NAME> / Order => table ORDER   <<<
