Getting FileNotFoundExceptions for datapiece.fst after upgrade to CS 7.6.2 (Doc ID 1462763.1)

Symptoms

After upgrade to CS 7.6.2 on Windows is causing the following error to be repeated in the logs

[CS][ERROR] Exception writing to file <Shared>\usedisksync\mycluster->datapiece.fst
java.io.FileNotFoundException: <Shared>\usedisksync\mycluster->datapiece.fst (The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect)
 at java.io.FileOutputStream.open(Native Method)
 at java.io.FileOutputStream.<init>(FileOutputStream.java:194)
 at java.io.FileOutputStream.<init>(FileOutputStream.java:145)
 at COM.FutureTense.Util.d.A(y:3151)
