Environment and CM Overrides are not recognised for the Inbound WebSphere MQ Adapter. (Doc ID 1463811.1)

Last updated on MARCH 25, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Java CAPS Enterprise Service Bus - Version R6.2 to R6.3 [Release 6.0]
IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)

The following steps are used to override the environment and connectivity map configuration parameters that are specified in Netbeans:

1\ Extract the Java CAPS application configuration using asadmin:

asadmin> extract-caps-application-configuration --capsconfigdir <configuration directory> --force=true <ear file name>

2\ Import the Java CAPS application configuration properties into the application server using asadmin:

asadmin> import-caps-configuration --host <host> --port <port> <configuration directory>

3\ Login to the application server admin console and configure the components under 'ESB - Environment and CM Overrides' to override the values at the application server level as required.

If this procedure is used to override the Inbound WebSphere MQ Adapter configuration parameters on AIX, the values are not overriden and the parameters values specified in Netbeans are used.
