Last updated on JUNE 16, 2022

Applies to:

Oracle Data Integrator - Version 11.1.1.5.0 to 11.1.1.6.0 [Release 11gR1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In a multi context environment, when we connect to ODI studio using a Non Generic ODI user(created with profiles NG_CONNECT, NG_DESIGNER, NG VERSION ADMIN, NG METADATA ADMIN), if a datastore is dragged on to interface, then the below error occurs.

In other words, the dropping of datastore while creating interface is giving exception/error for Non-Generic user having context instance privilege though the user is having instance privilege on the context associated with the logical schema of the Model linked to datastore.
