How to Set Maximum Parameter Count in Oracle iPlanet Web Server (Doc ID 1464314.1)

Goal

 This document describes how to set the Maximum Parameter Count feature that is added in iPlanet Web Server 7.0 Update 14 (WS7.0U14) and 6.1 Patch 16 (WS61SP16). The Maximum Parameter Count is used to limit the number of parameters a Java servlet can get from the HTTP payload. The default value is set to 10000 for both newer Web server updates from unlimited, in previous versions.

There might be Java web application that need to process large number of form parameters and that after updating to the above version failed to get the complete HTML form parameteres. In these cases, this value needs to be increased.
