Navigation from Discussion Thread (after a Reply) Goes to Top of the Thread

Goal
There is this behavior (in Spaces and in a custom WC Portal application, with the Discussion Forum taskflow):
1. Discussion page on Spaces - created a discussion.
2. Replied several times to enable the vertical scrollbar.
3. Scrolled down and replied to the last reply.
6. Navigation to the top of the thread.
The expectation is that navigation should be to the discussion / portion of thread, to which the reply was made. Not to the top of the thread.
