How Does the FILINGSTATE Table Function When Errors are Encountered During Imaging Input Filing? (Doc ID 1468858.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 16, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content: Imaging - Version 11.1.1.3.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

During processing of input files, you may encounter a database outage or connection issue. The Imaging Input Agent was in the middle of processing the input files during this outage. The input files have only been partially processed and remain in the "STAGE" directory for the Imaging server.

Trying to move the input files back to the Input directory will produce the following error when they are processed:

TCM-70024: An existing set of state information was found for the job /var/app/ipm/InputAgent/InputFiles/Stage/<filename>.txt for Input <filename> and cannot be duplicated. Input Agent is ignoring this request.

What is the proper method of handling these partially processed files and what role does the FILINGSTATE table play in this process?
