 While setting the Topology for Oracle Data Integrator Application Adapter for Hadoop, when running a connection test on a Hive DataServer, this error message is displayed:

ODI-26039 Connection failed.
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: Could not load JDBC driver class [org.apache.hadoop.hive.jdbc.HiveDriver]

While testing the connection from the Agent:

[ERROR] [ODI-1131] [...] Agent XXX encountered an error: ODI-1274: Agent Exception Caused by: org/apache/hadoop/hive/metastore/api/MetaException[[
ODI-1274: Agent Exception
Caused By: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/hadoop/hive/metastore/api/MetaException
  at org.apache.hadoop.hive.jdbc.HiveDriver.connect(
