Coherence Extends Proxy Does Not Startup Properly And Fails With "Invalid host in address list " When Using authorized-host-list (Doc ID 1469433.1)

Symptoms

The Coherence Cluster 3.6 failed to start up properly after a hostname specified in the cache-config -> caching-schemes -> proxy-scheme -> acceptor-config -> tcp-acceptor -> authorized-hosts tag fails to resolve its DNS name:

 

As a result the .NET clients cannot connect to the Coherence Extend Proxy Server.

Changes

One of the hostnames specified in the authorized-hosts list was wrong, e.g. that can happen if the hostname can not be resolved in DNS or the hosts file.
